Frequently Asked Questions

When can I irrigate my property? From 15 April to 15 October as KID receives special power rates during that time.
What is a dole valve and are they required when irrigating? Dole valves are devices which limit the flow of water and are available in specific GPM sizes. These are required for all sprinkling. See "Water Restrictions" for pictures and size required.
How many sprinklers am I allowed to operate? See "Watering Restrictions" for details
Are their any watering restrictions in Kaleden? See "Watering Restrictions" for details on new conservation measures for 2009. 
Can we pay our water bill by debit, credit card or through internet banking? Yes, you can pay online through all BC Credit Unions, CIBC, B of M, TD Canada Trust. As well,  cheques and cash are accepted as payment methods. Receipts are not issues unless specifically requested.
